guessing the id (was: RE: lost mail)

Well, in this mail I wanted to propose a new function for XPath 2.0
which returns the id of an element, if it has one - just the complementary
function to id(). 

But now I realized that this can be achieved simply (really?) by
@*[id(.) and count(id(.)|..)=1]
