Hi, Please forgive the very basic question. I'm just getting started with XSL, going through the online docs and specs and whatever I can find, but it is slow going. I'm really enjoying http://nwalsh.com/docs/tutorials/xsl/xsl/slides.html I have an XML document that has something like this: ----------------------------------- <title>A Name</title> <misctags>stuff</misctags> <issue num="10" date="2000/11/11"/> ------------------------------------ i.e. the <title> and <issue> tags are separated by other tags. My XSL file currently contains something like this: ---------------------------------- <xsl:template match="title"> <h1> <xsl:value-of select="."/> </h1> </xsl:template> ---------------------------------- which outputs -------------------------- <h1> A Name </h1> -------------------------- What I'd like is to also use information from <issue> in that output, so as to get something like ------------------------- <h1> A Name #10 For 2000/11/11 </h1> -------------------------- I'm not quite sure how to do it. Is this sort of question welcome? If so, I may have others...
