RE: MathML tags in an attribute of an HTML EMBED tag ?

XSLT can only produce well-formed output. That doesn't allow you to use
elements nested within attributes.

> <xsl:template match="FORMULE">
>    <EMBED TYPE="text/mathml" MMLDATA="<xsl:apply-templates />

the stylesheet must also be well-formed XML.
