I tried to compare the processing time of both with a 3MB source file and a style sheet that just did that test to every node, but I didn't have time to do a proper test and the results weren't valid. So, implementor out there, can you tell me which is _theoretically_ faster? I mean in practice you can't see the difference, so the question is purely academic.
