microsoft jscript compilation error expected
In IE5, the expr attribute accepts a script expression, not an XPath.  See
http://msdn.microsoft.com/isapi/msdnlib2.idc?theURL=/library/psdk/xmlsdk/xsl
p2elv.htm for an example of even/odd detection in IE5.
