There are two ways of doing it: (a) <xsl:key name="idref" match="@Noutput | @Youtput | @linksTo | @input-LinksTo" use="."/> (b) <xsl:key name="idref" match="@Noutput" use="."/> <xsl:key name="idref" match="@Youtput" use="."/> <xsl:key name="idref" match="@linksTo" use="."/> <xsl:key name="idref" match="@input-LinksTo" use="."/> the second way allows you to have different "use" expressions for each match pattern.
