[XSL-LIST Mailing List Archive Home] [By Thread] [By Date] [Recent Entries] [Reply To This Message] is there something like an xsl:ignore tag?
Is there a way to ignore text inside a template: For example: I have the following template <xsl:template name="test"> <table> <tr> <td> <xsl:value-of select="some_data"/> </td> </tr> </table> </xsl:template> I want someone to be able to open up the test template in an html tool such as dreamweaver and see the table with a value in it. Is there a way to do something like the template below so "aLiteral" shows up in the cell when viewed in the html tool, but "aLiteral" is ignored by the xsl processor: <xsl:template name="test"> <table> <tr> <td> <xsl:value-of select="some_data"/><xsl:ignore>aLiteral</xsl:ignore> </td> </tr> </table> </xsl:template> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
