The problem is that the XML/XSL viewer inserts the result into a <div>. When you do this the script is lost ;-( You could change the update function in controls.htm to oNewDoc = parent.results.document.open("text/html", "replace"); oNewDoc.write(source.transformNode(style)) but then you lose the debug view html functionality. >-----Original Message----- >From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >[mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jia Ming Li >Sent: 14 December 1999 00:26 >To: 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' >Subject: XSL embedded Script Questions. > > >I have a question on embedding scripts to xsl. > >========================================================= ><xsl:stylesheet type="text/xsl" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl"> > <xsl:template match="/"> > <HTML> > <HEAD> > <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JSCRIPT"><xsl:comment><![CDATA[ > function testingClick() > { > document.write("It works"); > } > ]]></xsl:comment></SCRIPT> > </HEAD> > <BODY> > <DIV onClick="testingClick()"> > Please Click on Me. > </DIV> > </BODY> > </HTML> > </xsl:template> ></xsl:stylesheet> >========================================================= > >Using MS XML/XSL Viewer to view the above script.
