For those whose thoughts lead to a diagnostic analysis of an XML instance,
you may be interested in an enumeration of nodes created by an XSL engine
for an arbitrary XML instance.

The stylesheet is named "SHOWTREE" and is available in the free resources
section of our web site (rather than have mailers screw up a mailed
stylesheet as has happened to me by my mailer with Steve's example). Two
versions are available: one for W3C-19990421 and one for IE5.
