Hi David.

A "validating parser" will validate an XML document against its DTD, as
opposed to a "non-validating parser" which will just ensure that the XML is
"well formed".

If you're looking to experiment with XML and possibly XSL then you might
find IE5b2 worth a try. Even if you plan deploying an application with
other tools, the IE5b2 browser makes for easy prototyping.

Is there any tool (or set of tools) for checking the validity of an XML
document against it's DTD, before translating into HTML?
