You are right it does work :) How embarrasing , I made a mental mistake, the
id values are generated by the stylesheet and I was thinking that I could
refer back to those, but since they are in the output tree they doesn't
really exist for regular pattern matching.  Hmm, wonder what's the best
solution is for this,
make another stylesheet that assigns parents and run it after the one that
assigns the id's.  This has been educational if nothing else :)
