Good engineers start by anticipating what people need.  That's a subtle, yet very important, difference.  And in this case, predicting what character codes will be needed by XML over the next few years is a pretty hard problem.

BTW, your unhelpful "daily" response to Robin annoyed me.  It was also pedantically incorrect, since it implied you go back there daily, too, which you don't :)  Robin -- he lives in southern California
