RE: The year is 2027
Tell us a bit more about the project and the goals.

I'm wrapped up in working X3D browser testing right now having released a
new world. The results are interesting but I blog that stuff.

My recent experience suggests to me that there are real problems with
working on open lists these days given the IP predators and the loose state
of software patents about to get worse because of first to file rules. In
2027 we may not have to move new data because the web will be so badly
fragmented into a couple of uber-data centers with little or no movement of
information among them and all services and formats within them completely
locked down. A web device will be to today's computer what the cellphone of
today is to a MaBell telephone of the 1960s.

Still no takers on this thread for UOML then?

http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=uoml

Seems to me to be exactly what this thread is looking for...
An ideal outcome of XML maybe

Looking for new recruits too I believe (and it hasn't gotten too far to
be influenced it seems to me - first committee draft)
