The annual XTech conference on XML and web technologies has spawned a
new event, XTech WebDev.

The new event is aimed at bringing best practice and new developments
to web developers in a one-day format. Send your development team to
get an expert briefing on recent topics in web development.

Our first event will be in London, UK, on 31 October 2006.

We're now taking registrations at http://webdev.xtech.org/

Topics include standards-based web development, Ajax and its
appropriate use, REST, Ruby on Rails. We'll have a lunchtime keynote
on "dirty semantics" and the web of data from Tom Coates of Yahoo!

A full schedule can be found at http://webdev.xtech.org/content/schedule

A discount of £50 is available to those who register before 23
September. Early signup is advised due to limited space for this
first event. Further discounts available for groups of 5 or more.
