I think if I were a named party in that article, 
I'd be mad if it is just flaming, and paranoid 
if not.  Those are hefty charges in today's 
environment.

While blogging per se, as Tim Bray notes, is not 
dangerous, any free expression has risks particularly 
when it goes into a megaphone as big as the web. 
I got a fresh dose of that reality two weeks ago 
and unpleasantly.   Those who want to latch on an 
misinterpret, then comment on the blog and start 
even more trouble can do that without much trouble. 
It makes me reconsider the policy of leaving the 
comments turned on.  If I turn them off, the conversation 
is one way.  If I leave them on, I endure the predations 
of the not-so-bright and the unscrupulous.

Life among the mammals, I guess.
