Re XML Europe: I've been worried lately that it might not happen next year. I seem to recall that it was supposed to be held in Amsterdam the next time around but there's nothing about it on the official site, nor do IDEAlliance mention it in their upcoming events list. If they keep their usual timetable, the abstracts should be submitted in a month's time so there's not much time to announce it... We used to have XML Scandinavia here in the north, but the last one in Copenhagen in 2001 was pretty desolate--no-one came--so it's probably history now. XMLEurope seems to be the only one left in this part of the world. /Ari _____ Ari Nordström - Consultant XML/SGML Sörman Information & Media AB, Celsiusgatan 8, 702 74 Göteborg, SWEDEN www.sorman.com Sörman Information & Media Sörman Information & Media AB is market-leading provider of specialist and business competences in after-sales information. Subject: RE: XML Conferences A couple of the traditionally international conferences in the list just happened to fall in the U.S. this year. I looked for shows I've seen in the past in the U.K., Germany, Canada, and France. There's one coming up in a week or two in France that I didn't add to the list because it would be over almost as soon as I posted it. One Canadian show appears to be defunct. The other probably just hasn't settled on dates yet. Probably the same is true for XML Europe. The U.K. and German shows appear to be history. :-( If anyone knows of any more XML shows outside the U.S., please let me know. -- Elliotte Rusty Harold elharo@m...
