We are led to believe by the intro that the ZapThink guys 
are "close to the genesis".  I like the article for its 
photos.  I didn't know Eve Mahler was that pretty. Jon 
should sue; he looks petrified.

The web is an amplifier.  Positive feedback is not 
always positive.  The twig once bent can only be unbent 
by making lumber, then who cares about the roots of the 
tree.

Keep this one in mind:  it was Yuri Rubinsky 
who started the project that became XML.  
Is that important to know?  To his friends, 
yes.  To the industry? Well, the answer to 
that characterizes the industry, not the man 
or the achievement.

It'd be nice if people mentioned the very active XML-SIG, and the W3C-SGML-WG 
before that. XML wasn't designed by a group of 12, but by a community.
