A question born of mild curiosity.

Would it be totally off the mark to assume that your sudden burst of interest in the impact of datatyping and the cry for "concrete" [sic] examples is, at least in part, so that you can declare to the assembled throng that nobody on XML-Dev could come up with a "concrete" example which showed that datatyping caused problems?

If the basic reason for the question is something else would you care to share it with us so we can at least respond to the question in its context?
