SVG is hard to implement, it's only 7 months since the REC, but we already have *10* viewers for various platforms, at various levels of development. There are also 3 editors that support SVG natively, many that export, dozens of conversion tools, and all sorts of generation systems. Implementation-wise, SVG is doing very well.
