I got lost somewhere in your description. Here are the steps I would expect to access someone's stock quote server: * go to Yahoo or InternetWhitePages.com (oops, looks like a porn site!). * go to the stock quote services category * click on AutomatedStockQuotes.com * go to their web page. Check their service agreement, give them my credit card number, etc. * download a service description (WSDL or IDL or REST-DL or something) * plug that into my programming language to get an "API" for the service which hopefully hides the details of the transaction * start making calls from the programming language Paul Prescod
