	 Will it end up like the OODBMS meme, subsumed into "post-relational"
   DBMS technology?  

That is not an accurate description of what has happened and what is
happening with OODBMS's.  Since this is the xml-dev mailing list, I'll
just register my official protest and not try to start a
non-XML-related tangent.
