Your argument seems to be that a pig is a pig whether or not it quacks and
walks like a duck.  My view is that if something walks and quacks like a
duck, I am gonna assume it is a duck and grab my ducktape (remember the
ducktape thread?  <g>).

Regardless of what W3C is or is not and regardless of where it gets its
funding, it has acted so far as if it was working for the common good of the
Web.  RAND incident is shocking to us because our duck just started oinking
like a pig.  I want my duck back!
