More seriously, I think the answer to all our problems
(http://lists.xml.org/archives/xml-dev/200103/msg00169.html) lies in
standardizing the concept of an XML processing pipeline.

I have developed such a beast, as have others. I'll be putting
mine forward at XML 2001 in Florida
