The problem is, when you contribute to standardization, you don't work 'for' the standards body. Instead, you work 'for' the people people that use the standards; in the case of W3C internet software developers and internet users. Since the W3C standards themselves are available for free, there is no way to have the people that you work 'for' to actually pay your expenses. Regards, Martin
