iteration help
Hi,

please forgive my possibly stupid request, but having rtfm and several
others I am getting nowhere with a small problem.

I am creating a hierarchy tree and want to create the "tree" structure with
.gifs.

I need to add a series of images to the beginning of each line - the number
of which is dependent upon the lines position in the tree. So for example, a
node at the fourth level has 4 preceeding images, and a node at the 104th
has 104.

Has anybody solved a similar problem? I have the text output from an
xsl:eval that loops correctly:

	function writeImages()
	{
	var imgString = "";
	e++;
	for (j=0; j<e; j++){
		imgString = imgString + "<IMG
src='/scb.dev/images/bullets/treeline.gif'>";
		}
	return imgString;
	}

...but only outputs text not mark-up.

I am starting to tear my hair out now as I don't want to have to hard code
an xsl:choose.

I would sincerely appreciate any help.

regards

Jon Lord
