This is not as big a deal as it sounds. All office products are going XML,
some already have. Check out http://www.openoffice.org for example.
Now if Microsoft joined the openoffice effort to define _standard_ office
formats in XML, then *that* would be a big deal. But I don't see that
happening without consumer pressure to do so.
