Yeah, except that HyTime is more general, simpler, and easier to build applications on. It uses less machinery to do more, and without imposing unnecessary constraints. Also: * HyTime doesn't confound interchange structure with the properties of the interchanged information, * HyTime is syntax-agnostic, and * HyTime really delivers on the promise of re-usable software for vocabularies, even when vocabularies are mixed together and/or inherit each other.
