Hello,

Oracle just released Java Runtime Environment v.8.0

Did you have a chance to try that particular version with SS?
Is it worth it to install Java Runtime Environment v.8.0?

On preliminary tests with X15 we did not find any compatibility problems and 1.8 feels substantially faster.

We do not exclude that there are corner cases in which the new JRE may break existing code.

Hi Ivan,

I uninstalled the previous Java v.7.51 and installed the latest version v.8.0

Indeed, everything works much faster now in SS.
I tested mostly different XSD Java based validators.
