I am trying to evaluate Styluss for XML conversion and I have run into a major block.
help!! I attempted to setup a DB connection and must have typed in something in error. NOw, all I get is this:

Failed to load "Relational DB" file system
File System: unable to create class loader using classpath of

and I can't edit the connection now.

Hi Cheryl,

To which database did you try to connect?

Right click on the database connection -> "Edit Server" then take a screen capture of that send it here.

When I R-click, I do not get the edit server - I get the error.
I was trying to attach to an SQL database.

Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL?

Did you change any other settings under Tools->Options?

When Stylus Studio starts does it prompt for any other errors?

Under Help->About which version of Java Virtual Machine do you see?

Could you take a screen-shot of File Explorer panel?

It's Microsoft SQL
No settings Changed Under Tools>Options
No other errors when Styluss Studio starts.

Could you please export the Stylus Stuido registry setting?

- Click Start -> Run then type regedit
- right click and do export... of the following key

--HKEY_CURRENT_USER\
---Software\
----Stylus Studio\
-----2010 XML Enterprise Suite


zip the .reg file and send it to stylus-field-report@progress.com

After examining the registry we have discovered that an invalid value was set for the JDBC driver classpath field in the connection dialog.

Clearing the appropriate registry keys solved the problem.
