I just wanted to let you know that the Stylus Studio 2010 XML Enterprise Suite has all of the functionality I need for my project. I have run up against one small problem that I need your people to help me resolve.

I have attached two files. The first file FWtoRAPID.xml is the file produced by the Stylus Studio Pipeline I have built. The second file FWtoRAPIDmod.xml is the form in which I need the file to be created.

The difference is in how the namespace is declared. In the first file the namespace is defined as 'xmlns: a=' and therefore 'a:' appears at the beginning of every element name. In the second file the namespace is defined only as 'xmlns=' and the element names contain no additional notations. The second file construction is what I need to produce to upload to our system.

How do I modify the Xquery to produce the correct output? If we can make this correction, then I will be purchasing the Stylus Studio 2010 XML Enterprise Suite.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Brent,
seeing the XQuery that generated the XML would help; however, usually you add a declaration

declare default element namespace "main-namespace";

at the top of the query.
