Hi,
I am newbie in xslt.
I have some problem in my current project.
I have to call web service from xslt. The web service takes an xml document as input parameter. I dont know how to do it.
I have tried to write xslt which calls web service by passing string or int values.
Please let me know how can I write the xslt.
Regards,
Smaranika

Hi Smaranika,
if you were using XQuery, the DataDirect XQuery processor has an extension function that invokes a web service (see
http://www.datadirect.com/products/xquery/soap/index.ssp
for a small tutorial). I'm not aware of an XSLT processor that provides the same functionality; you can anyway look around for custom code that adds such functionalities (I found this, for example:
http://www.andrewjwelch.com/code/xslt/soap/xslt-soap-extension.html
).
Hope this helps,
Alberto
