Hello,

When I start Stylus I get an error message stating: " The instruction at "0x50439d56" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". "
This error message is the first that occurs after the logo. Reinstalling wont help.

Stylus is running on a Windows NT Workstation with 128Mb internal memory and IE5 installed as well as MSXML3 object.

Anybody an idea?

I need some more information.

1) What version of Stylus.exe do you have? It should be 2.0.xx.

2) What exact version of IE are you running? See Help | About.

3) Can you export your HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\JavaSoft key using RegEdit and post the .REG file?

Alex,

Stylus is version 2.0.05
Internet Explorer is 5.00.2919.6307CO
Registry setting is attached.

On other machines with the same configuration it works perfectly. The only difference is that I've ran and removed the older version of Stylus (Eval.) as well on this machine.

You're running Sun's JRE 1.2.1, which caused some compatibility problems with older versions of Stylus. I'd suggest upgrading Stylus, and if you want to use its Java features, upgrade to JRE 1.2.2 as well.
