Subject:error message on startup about trying to connect to server Author:Georg Sisow Date:29 Jun 2005 07:09 AM
Hello,
I have an error message every time I start StylusStudio and am not connected to the internet like this:
"We experienced an error trying to connect to out server:
..............
Please try submitting your registration/activation key later."
Why does the message come up (the version of SS is a registered one) and how can it be deactivated? It looks quite bad (like SS is going to crash) and I can't be always connected to the internet (its a notebook).

If you have a "paid license", then you are experiencing a problem in the current build when working in disconnected mode. The problem is being fixed in a minor update that we are releasing this evening (BL377L). Please note that the message you are getting is benign; it won't affect the bahavior of the application.
If you have an trial license, even if registered, then Stylus Studio needs to connect to its activation server in order to verify its license state; if you are unable to connect, you can still use Stylus Studio, but you will receive reminders/warnings avery few minutes.
