Subject:Unable to selfextract studio.exe for update to version 5.3 Author:Matthijs Ligt Date:21 Jul 2004 05:16 AM
L.S.
I'm having trouble updating from Stylus Studio 5.1 173d to the latest
version 5.3. When using the updating functionality from the Help menu,
it re-directs me to the website where I can download 5.3. When
extracting the file it gives the error as shown in the attachment.
Extracting the studio.exe with e.g. Winrar only gives me a file named
vssver.scc, with which I can't do anything. Checking and emptying the
Windows/Temp directory and the Temp directory of my local profile
doesn't change this.
Hope to hear from you soon. I case you have any questions or remarks,
please let me know.

You might be hitting one of these problems:
- Your "TEMP" environment variable is actually pointing to a location
where you don't at least 80MB of available disk space. In this case you
should change TEMP to point to a location with more disk space available
and try again.
- The installation package you downloaded is corrupted. In this case I
can only suggest downloading it again.
