Here are some remarks for SS 4. The zip file contains some files for showing some errors.
- Open the err1.prj in SS. Open TblKurz.xml from the project pane. The file has the schema "Tabellen.xsd" associated but SS shows no schema if you select menu "XML/Open Associated Schema".
- Open the err1.prj in SS. Open TblKurz.xml from the project pane. Change to the "Schema" pane. SS shows the Dialog "Schema Not Found". Select "Generate XML Schema". Type in the filename "TblKurz.xsd" for "Output File:". Click the Button "Yes". The error box "Application error" appears. The Struzzo.log file is also in the zip file.
- Open the err1.prj in SS. Open Normalform.xsl from the project pane. Press F5 to see the transformation result from the scenario "Debug". Select "Preview in tree" in the XSLT Preview window. SS shows only the outermost tag "Normalform" but no child. If you delete the 'doctype-system="Normalform.dtd"' from the xsl:output tag in the XSL file, the preview window shows the full tree.
- Open SS without any project. Select menu "Tools/Keyboard...". Select "File: Save All" in the left listbox. Click on button "Create Shortcut". The box "Assign Shortcut" appears. Press F8 to assign the function key F8 to "Save All" and click the button "Ok". The F8 key is shown as the letter "w" in the "Assigned shortcuts" field. Click the button "Ok". Have a look at the menu "File". In the line with "Save All" is also the letter "w", but F8 works fine.

Hans,
both errors stems from the fact that you use the URI
"http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema" or
"http://www.w3.org/2000/10/XMLSchema-instance". These are the ones used in=
the last Working Draft (October 2000); the final recommendation makes use
of "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" and
"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance".
Stylus Studio only supports the final recommendation, so you need to update=
these files before being able to use them.
P.S. The crash will be fixed in the next beta version: it is caused because=
we try to add an xmlns:xsi attribute with the proper value even if it is
already present

This is an error which is not specific to 4.0; it's also present in 3.x
We have a fix for it; the next beta build of 4.0 and the next build update
for 3.1 will feature it.
