Hi,
I was wondering whether there was a wysiwyg way of formatting numbers. Right now I can format numbers by using the format-number command in the xslt code, but this seems to me to be something that should be done through a wysiwyg environment. Is there a button I missed or is manually editing the xslt the only option. And if it is, will this be changed in the near future?
Also I was wondering if there is any development being done to make it easier to format dates. Right now I format my dates through assigning variables and ordering these the right way. But I will probably have to create stylesheets in the future for planning schedules, where this solution will not be an option. We wish to send these stylesheets to other users, so anything external, like EXSLT is not really an option.

There are no plans in the short term to add number or date formatting
directly to WYSIWYG. In the longer term we are planning a redesign,
and your suggestion has been noted. Thank you!
But for formatting, you could use the XSLT 2 functions provided by the
Saxon engine. That wouldn't require EXSLT.
