Is there any way to expand the length of what can be displayed in the value column of the watch window? The column is wide enough to display twice what is shown but it ends off with a .... I can't seem to find anyplace to modify this setting.

Jim,
would you mind attaching a screenshot of what you are seeing? Trying to reproduce the problem, I get the result I would expect: the final "..." characters are added to the truncated string only when that's needed to make it fit the available space.
BTW, what Stylus Studio version/build number are you running? (Help>About)

I see what you mean now. The value column in question is meant to be a short "summary" of the nodeset associated to the $itemList variable. The processor (not the watch window itself) truncates the summary to be no longer of 64 characters (it's potentially very long, as it could be the serialization of a whole XML document).
Unfortunately that value cannot be controlled by the user; the rationale being that if you need to know more about that nodeset, you can expand it (clicking the [+] to the left of $itemList) and navigate down to the level you need to reach. But I understand your situation, and I'm filing a change request to make this behavior tunable in the future.

Thanks I was afraid it wasn't user definable. I appreciate the quick response. I don't know when the last time I got help with a product question so quickly.
