Sebastien,
The Stylus Studio Team made a conscious decision to invest on the client side.
Stylus exposes Web Services as they were XML documents and let you concentrate
on other tasks like transformation and aggregation.
WSDL documents are XML documents so you can open them with the XML Editor.

Sebastien,
most likely the first time you have tried opening a WSDL you have
associated it to the Web Service Call Composer module. You can confirm that
looking at Tools|Options > File Types.
You can also override your initial choice by forcing any file to be opened
by a non-default plugin, by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the
Open button in the Open file dialog (in this case you would choose XML Editor).

It's working! Thanks for the complete answer.
By the way the dropdown is kind of hidden on the open button.
The first time I clicked on it it just did open and saw the same error.
Maybe you should find a more explicit way like to have a true (large) dropdown that is visible.
