1Charge payment currency
The currency in which charges are to be paid.
2Reference currency
The currency applicable to amounts stated. It may have to be converted.
3Target currency
The currency which should be used to the target destination of the transaction.
4Transport document currency
Currency applicable to amounts stated in a transport document/message.
5Calculation base currency
Currency on which the calculation is based.
6Information Currency
Additional currency the message recipient needs for information purposes. The actual message amount(s) is/are not based upon this currency.
7Currency of the account
Currency in which the account is held.

Change indicators
plus sign An addition.
asterisk Addition/substraction/change to a code entry for a particular data element.
hash or pound sign Changes to names.
vertical bar Changes to text for descriptions, notes and functions.
minus sign A deletion.
letter X Marked for deletion.

Usage indicators
Used in batch messages only.
Common usage in both batch and interactive messages.
Used in interactive messages only.
