Java API Overview

The Stylus Studio Java API consists of several packages of Java libraries that you can use to build Java applications that access non-XML data, convert that data to XML, and then manipulate it (with XQuery or XSLT, for example). The Stylus Studio Java API exploits Stylus Studio's custom URL schemes and URI resolver to provide database connectivity and bi-directional XML-to-non-XML data conversion.

This section covers the following topics:

Using DTD in Microsoft Applications

Learn how to integrate DTD's into your Microsoft applications using MSXML or System.XML DTD processing components.

JSP Editor

Edit and Validate JSP 1.2 and JSP 2.0 documents. Includes JSP syntax coloring, JSP code completion and more.

XQuery Documentation Generator

Stylus Studio provides integrated support for xqDoc so you can generate XQuery documentation directly from the XQuery editor.

Simple API for XML (SAX)

SAX stands for Simple API for XML - SAX is an XML standard used everywhere in Stylus Studio, for parsing and building representations of XML documents.
