Item ID IACUC NUmber
PCSD000042 123456

when the user clicks on Item ID it should sort and vice versa On IACUC number.Can this be achieved through Java Script in xslt.

You are very close

1)In HTML the script block goes into the head element

2)This java script library requires a table header
