Markus StickerSubject: XSLT autocomplete function
Author: Markus Sticker
Date: 05 Oct 2011 04:34 AM
Hello,

I get mad about this autocomplete function, because I have to write very often the tag <field name="blablabla"> and everytime the editor changed it to <fieldset name="blablabla">.

So, how can I switch this functionality off?
Best regards

Markus

I understand your frustration, this is a common behavior in auto-complete implementations: hitting space commits the value selected in the list.

Pressing the ESC key does close the auto-complete list and prevents the text to be replaced.

You may also want to take advantage of a little known feature.
If you associated a schema to a Stylus Studio project folder and add your XSLT to the same folder, the auto-complete will be aware of the schema definitions.

Here is a simple definition for the element "field"

Notice that you may need to restart Stylus Studio after the schema has been associated.

Hope this helps

<xs:element name="field">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:attribute name="aaa"/>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:schema>
