The Problem ist recognized when using Studio 2008 R2 Build 1157f. When I download http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jaxb/bindingschema_2_0.xsd , then open and validate, Stylus Studio crashes.

Hi Dieter,
this is known bug in the Xerces-C++ validation engine (http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XERCESC-1825); you can workaround it by removing the default value for the attribute declaration "typesafeEnumBase" in

<xs:attributeGroup name = "typesafeEnumClassDefaults">
<xs:attribute name = "typesafeEnumMemberName" default = "skipGeneration" type = "jaxb:typesafeEnumMemberNameType"/>
<xs:attribute name = "typesafeEnumBase" default = "xs:string" type = "jaxb:typesafeEnumBaseType"/>
<xs:attribute name = "typesafeEnumMaxMembers" type="xs:int" default="256"/>
</xs:attributeGroup>
