I am transforming an XML message to SOAP and getting xmlns="" in copy of select result.
Transform program
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="
http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
version="1.0">
<xsl:template match="/PW_ACCOUNT_CF_SYNC_EFF">
<soap:Envelope xmlns:xsi="
http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xmlns:xsd="
http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:soap="
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<soap:Body>
<Account xmlns="
http://www.whatever.com/webservices">
<document>
<TABLES><xsl:copy-of select="MsgData/Transaction/GL_ACCOUNT_TBL"/>
</TABLES>
</document>
</Account>
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
Transformed message
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<PW_ACCOUNT_CF_SYNC_EFF><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
xmlns:xsd="
http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xsi="

You'd need to put these elements and those under it in the same namespace:
"
http://www.whatever.com/webservices"
