I am disappointed that MarkLogic integration has been discontinued. I would like to connect to a MarkLogic database and do some serious XQuery development using the MarkLogic custom query tools. Is this still possible? If not, what wouldit take to make this happen? MarkLogic is an industry leader.

Thx,

Tim

It is no more possible to connect to a MarkLogic server and run MarkLogic XQueries from inside Stylus Studio. At this point there are no plans to rediscuss this decision.

Stylus Studio is still heavily committed to XQuery, as bundling of DataDirect XQuery (http://www.xquery.com) and Saxon-SA (http://www.saxonica.com) demonstrate.

Its 2 years later. Any new thoughts on this ?
My company has multiple Stylus Studio Enterprise licenses (I think 6 atleast) and were considering MarkLogic. I'd hate to have to toss those and get Oxygen instead but thats what were going to have to do if Stylus wont support ML.

I agree with David. We have adopted MarkLogic in my corporation, and I would really rather use Stylus than *cough, cough* Oxygen!

Please advise, can we get this feature back? I never used it before, but now I need it!!

There are no plans at this point to (re)introduce support for MarkLogic in Stylus Studio.
