Jamil TaylorSubject: XPath Query Editor

For Stylus Studio 2007 R2, I am able to right click a node displayed in the Tree view tab for an XML doc, click 'Copy XPath To Clipboard', then paste the copied contents into the XPath Query Editor. A couple of time saving features would be drag and drop of an item to the query editor. Also, a keyboard shortcut to do the same would be helpful too.

The Copy XPath To Clipboard feature works as expected on the tree view tab. For the schema view, I receive unexpected results, however. I would expect that dragging a node from either the tree view or schema view would return the same results from either tab. The schema view's query does not appear correct though.

Hi Jamil,
thank you for your suggestions, we'll take them into account when designing the next version of Stylus. As for building the XPath expression from the schema view, the problem is that what is displayed in the schema view belongs to a different document, so applying the XPath to the XML document will generate an empty result.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
