Hello I am fairly new to XSLT. I am trying to create a template that contains a <fo:table>. However when I do this I get an error. This is case not only with <fo:table> but with any "fo" tag inside the template. I am wondering what I need to include in the template in order for this to work. My generic template looks like this.

<xsl:template name="testing">
<fo:table>
<fo:table-column column-width="1.65cm"/>
<fo:table-column column-width="1.65cm"/>
<fo:table-body>
<fo:table-row>
<fo:table-cell>
</fo:table-cell>
<fo:table-cell>
</fo:table-cell>
</fo:table-row>
</fo:table-body>
</fo:table>
</xsl:template>

Any help is very much appreciated.

Most likely you forgot to declare the fo namespace.


To accelerate the learning phase i suggest downloading Stylus Studio Enterprise and try out XML Publisher
