Laurent DaubachSubject: Convert directory tree to XML
Author: Laurent Daubach
Date: 14 Feb 2007 10:49 AM
We are looking for a solution that enumerates all the folders and files under a given starting folder and generates an XML document as an output, that represents the same hierarchy as of the traversed directories. The starting folder is a local folder.

The exported XML content should look like this:

<folder name="start here">
<file>
<type>doc</type>
<filename>mytest</filename>
</file>
<file>
<type>doc</type>
<filename>mytest2</filename>
</file>
<folder name="level1">
<file>
<type>doc</type>
<filename>mytest</filename>
</file>
<folder name="level2">
<file>
<type>doc</type>
<filename>subsubdir</filename>
</file>
</folder>
</folder>
</folder>

Thanks
