I really loathe the fact that there are Enterprise-level features shown in the menus and tips of the Professional edition. I paid for the version I want - I didn't plan on the constant advertisements for features I don't want and explicitly decided not to purchase.

You should add an opt out checkbox for this in Options.

P.S. This is actually worse than the advertising you get from XMLSpy Home Edition, which only runs when you start the product, and then just quietly sits in the Advanced menu.
