My installation of STYLUS (6.1) came with saxon 8.1.x
Source level debugging is very handy, yet I must move on to
the latest saxon (saxonb8.6.1) due to bug fixes and so forth.
Is there a way I can do that without giving up source level debugging?
I am prety much committed to XSLT 2.0, at least for the heavy lifting.
Thanks, Arthur

Upgrading to the latest version of Stylus Studio is the only way.
The internals of Saxon have changed considerably since that
release, so that you couldn't just drop in the 8.6.1 jars and run.
The good news is that if you switch to SS 2006 Enterprise, we include
not only Saxon-B, but a license for Saxon-SA as well.

Thanks Tony.
My present Stylus is Professionsl Version 6 release 2.
Can I obtain updates for newe releases of version 6,
or have you guys moved on to 7... I prefer to stick to the professional version if possible.

Since like most marketing people, ours can't count, the next
version after 6 is not 7, but 2006. As for updating, send
along your request to stylusstudio (at) stylusstudio.com, and
those guys will know what your options are.
2006 Professional includes Saxon-B 8.6.1, and 2006 Enterprise
includes Saxon-SA 8.6.1. In Enterprise we also now include
the Saxon XML Schema Validator.
